Like one of those stories that will most likely spread through the internet like a wildfire good?

… Then here it is. As real and raw as it gets. Grab some popcorn and enjoy.

Imagine this…

You have a business that is growing at leaps and bounds…

You are quickly becoming recognized as a global authority for putting on transformational live events…

And you have a SOLD-OUT Seminar coming up in a few days with players flying in from around the world to learn and grow with you…

And a few days before the event starts…

You get sick…

… Nothing drastic. Just a cold. But you’re definitely not feeling your best. And in the back of your mind, you’re slightly concerned about how this will impact the event.

Will you be able to perform?
Will your energy levels maintain?
Will you be able to communicate with power?

But you continue to remind yourself that “everything will be fine” and stay focused on the task at hand.

… Which is to put on a great event that delivers exceptional value and makes six-figures in a weekend.

So you make it to the event…

So far, so good.

All the speakers are confirmed, the schedules are finalized, the team is prepped, and the energy of the space feels good.

There’s only one problem.

You have developed a nasty cough that just won’t quit.

… And what’s worse, nothing you are trying (to get rid of it) is working.

Supplements, teas, herbs, cough medicine, zinc, Vicks, Vitamin C, ginger, turmeric…

Not a single thing is making even the slightest bit of difference.

And because of your extensive speaking experience, you know that trying too talk too much with a bad cough is likely to create the absolute worst possible scenario that could literally ruin your event…

You loose your voice

So imagine that.

You have an entire room full of people that have invested a lot of money in your program.

PLUS, they have invested even more to fly to the event, get a room, and take time away from their business…

… So they could learn from YOU.

And that’s exactly what I did. I said to myself:

“This is the situation that has presented itself. It is what it is. So I’m going to make the commitment right now show up, take it one step at a time, and deal with every challenge as it arises.”

And as expected, after my first session, my voice was just about completely gone…with three and half days of teaching left to do.

… oh shit.

So what would you do in this situation?

Cry?

Yup, did that.

Scream?

What’s the point…you don’t have a voice.

Blame yourself?

That won’t do any good…

Get out of your own way and let your team and participants support you?

At at time like this, that’s the only thing left to do.

You see, from the very first moment I got up on stage, I set the right intention…

I said: “Listen tribe. I love you. I’m here to support you and I’ve got a ton of great things to share with you this weekend. Stuff that will make a profound difference on your ability to earn great money by genuinely helping others.

But here’s the thing…

There is the very real possibility that I’m going to loose my voice because of this cold. So if you want me to help you, I need you to do a few things:

1. Raise your energy levels. If you vibrate at a higher level, it will help me do the same.

2. Be flexible. It’s likely we’re going to have to get really creative if this unfolds the way it’s looking like it will.

And guess what?

That’s exactly what they did.

Every single person in the room raised their energy levels, and became totally willing to bend and move with whatever unfolded.

So then, it was just about getting creative with how to deliver the content.

… And boy oh boy, did the team STEP UP to take charge.

- We brought in my lead copywriter and marketing genius Mateo VIA Skype and had him lead an awesome video session about how to create emotion in people through your launch…

- My right hand gal and affiliate rock-star Erika came on to drop some knowledge about our secrets for getting an entire tribe of people to enthusiastically promote your programs for you….

- Our “get you into your body” guide Shule often sat next to me on stage allowing me to whisper into her ear so she could communicate my message with more charisma and charm.

- My “Event Goddess” Lisa kept all the logistics in perfect order, even as we had to literally change the schedule on the spot to accommodate my voice.

- And the newest member of our team Amanda, who is driving forward the project with my dad (coming soon), took the absolute best care of me, making sure I drank tea, ate food, and had everything I needed to keep my head from exploding.

… And then, through a good chunk of the event…

I whispered sweet nothings to the audience.

No seriously, I did a lot of whispering into the mic.

And I did the best I possibly could to walk people through each juicy step of the Your Big Launch Blueprint so they would walk away with a clear framework for doing their own six-figure launches.

And to my utter SHOCK…

People kept coming up to me, one after another, saying things like:

“This was the best event I have ever attended.”

“You are such a great model for me. I can’t thank you enough.“

“I learned more about how to grow my business in these last 4 days than I have in the last year.“

“You have given me a brand new fire for my business. This event has changed my life forever.”

And all I kept thinking was: We’re we at the same event?

haha…

I guess the results speak for themselves…

Now I don’t have the final numbers yet but I’m about 98% certain that by the time we wrap everything up we still managed to turn this into a $100,000+ event.

… Even with all these obstacles and challenges getting in the way.

Which feels really good to know that we can maintain our reputation of putting on transformational live events that generate six-figures in a single weekend.

So what can we learn from this?

Well, there are about a million more lessons than what I’m going to put below. But here are the top 3 that really stand out:

1) You can handle anything, even when you’re worst fear manifests into reality, as long as you have the right attitude and state of consciousness.

There wasn’t a single moment throughout the entire event where I was seriously worried that things wouldn’t be fine. I just kept believing in myself, my team, and the tribe.

And because I wasn’t trying to hide anything or make the situation different than what it was, everyone was amazingly understanding and supportive.

The world is a giant mirror. How you show up is always reflected back to you.

2) Business is about US, not you vs. them.

If I would have tried to pretend that this event was all about me, and I was the all mighty guru trying to tell you, the little people in the audience, what to do, then I’m sure the tribe would have reacted in a very different way.

Yet my belief system about business is that we’re all in this together. I may have some knowledge and life-experiences that can help you, but that doesn’t make me better or superior to you.

It just means that I know something things that will help you.

That’s it.

So when you make the shift from trying to “sell people”, like it’s you vs. them, and settle into a place where you see yourself as part of the tribe instead of above it or below it, then people will not only listen and respect you…

… But they will also be thrilled to buy your specialized knowledge from you.

3) Make everything a great story. Truth be told, I couldn’t wait to tell this to you.

Why? Because it’s just such a juicy story. And let’s face it, isn’t that what makes a great teacher great? They have awesome stories.

So when everything around you seems to be falling apart, repeat this mantra: “This will make for a great story one day.”

I must have said that to myself, and out loud, at least 50 times throughout the last 4 days…with the pure intention of reminding myself that what’s happening is actually REALLY GOOD.

… Despite the fact that it felt so bad.

What to do with this story now…

A small selection of my healing remedies! haha

… where I’ll be taking an entire room full of amazing, spiritually-driven entrepreneurs through my signature process  to launch events, programs, and classes…

… and fill them up in record time…

… while making more money in a few days than you might have made all year.

But something is WAY different this time around…

Because I’ve done this drill before…yet it doesn’t feel the same.

What is it?

Why does it seem so different?

Oh, I KNOW!

Filling up this event and preparing for it has been MUCH EASIER than ever before!

I mean, it’s really kind of weird…

I put less time into the campaign than ever before. I spent less energy getting all the details together than ever before.

… And I certainly didn’t worry even close to as much as I usually do.

But why?

And then it hit me…

There’s a perfectly good explanation for this (plus one that’s not so obvious which I’ll share later).

You see, Malcolm Gladwell wrote a book called “Outliers.” Pick it up if you haven’t read it yet.

… While the entire book is chalked full of awesomeness, there was ONE line that struck a deep chord in me up until this very day. And it goes like this:

“All Masters have at least 10,000 hours of practice.”

Which means that if you want things to go smoother in your life, if you want to experience more effortless success, you simply need to commit to doing one thing:

… PRACTICE.

Again, and again, and again….until you have mastery.

You see, at this point, I have produced hundreds of events. We have systems in place for just about EVERY aspect of the process. We know EXACTLY what to expect long before we even take our first step.

So, in simple terms, this level of experience leads to our level of success.

Period.

This logic probably makes perfect sense to you. Besides, it’s nothing new (but hopefully a good refresher).

But there’s something else in this….something much deeper.

And now the NOT-SO-OBVIOUS lesson…

If you’ve been in my world for a bit, you know that something  really significant has taken place in my life recently.

My father, the one and only Dr. David Simon, co-founder of the Chopra Center and best-selling author, and my greatest teacher…self-diagnosed his own fast-moving brain cancer.

… and has been undergoing (actually just finished) chemotherapy and radiation.

So as I have been spending time with him, contemplating the meaning of life, talking about what happens when we die, and how to make the most out of the time we have while we’re here…

… I have learned something profound…

How to stop pushing.

Meaning…

I have always been great at driving things forward. I work hard. I am extremely focused. I can get sh*t done super fast.

… Some people have said I get more done in a single day than most get done in an entire week.

So that’s been my identity. My ability to “always do more.”

… But recently, that drive has faded. I don’t feel like I’m in such a hurry.

I’m not always thinking about the next thing.

We WON the World's Most Democractic Workplace Award!

… In fact, I’m more present than I’ve ever been.

And as a result of that, I have given people on my team A WHOLE LOT MORE space to do what they do best – step into their place of power!

Which means that everyone has stepped up to take on more responsibility, more focus, and more drive.

… And as a result, we are getting much better results as a team than I ever did as an individual.

Phew. And thank god.

So what does this mean to you?

There’s a funny paradox in business.

On one hand, you simply need to put the hours in. You need to remain focused. You need to keep driving things forward. You need to practice to become masterful.

And on the hand, pushing too hard is bad for you and your business. It prevents you from trusting other people. It causes you to work, all the time. And it’s draining.

So as my good friend and mentor Vishen Lakhiani says, you need to find that perfect balance between having a BIG vision for the future and feeling gratitude and joy in the now.

Sometimes, it’s as simple as just “remembering”. Sometimes, you need to step away from your world and get into a new energy (like coming to an event).

… And sometimes, something totally un-expected and life-changing happens that you didn’t plan for or expect…like having the person you care about the most embrace his own mortality…

and you get the same result.

So with that in mind, let me ask you an important question…

… And we’re helping tens of thousands of people all over the world to get their message out, make a bigger difference in the world, and create the type of wealth and abundance you deserve.

And yet, there’s more to do…

Because so many people are still struggling… financially… energetically… emotionally… in their business.

And in a flash of light, I got an insight into why.

“I have a funny story to tell you that’s a mix of divine comedy and paradoxical satire.”

Earlier this week, I said goodbye to my Los Angeles home and packed up to head down South to a little town called Carmel Valley. It’s a special place that’s right on the perimeter of a city called Del Mar, which is about a mile and half away from my dad’s home (and my family)…

… and if you were to ask me a nice way to describe the new neighborhood, I would say “suburbia“.

Which makes me laugh, because I went from living in one of the hippest and most happening areas in Los Angeles (Santa Monica) to almost overnight, being in track-home central surrounded by family parks and screaming kids.

… But I’m close to my dad…and that’s really all that matters right now.

So laugh with me…

… Because that’s really the best way to handle a situation like this….with comedy.

Seriously, can you see how hilarious and interesting life is!?!? If my so-called “plans” unfolded the way my consciousness was intending, I would currently be living on the tropical island of Maui (Hawaii) on a large plot of land surrounded by fruit trees and waterfalls…

… And instead, I am here, right now, in San Diego, in a big house, with a nice yard, and new carpet. What a trip…

So what’s the point?

… You may be thinking to yourself (because that’s what I would be doing if I was reading this….haha).

The point is that life is mysterious, magical, and un-known. No matter how much you attempt to predict and control your circumstances, it is absolutely inevitable that, at some point, something will happen that will dramatically and drastically shift you from your course.

And guess what….there is nothing you can do about it.

So the question is not: “how do you prevent these types of things from happening?” but rather “how are you going to handle them when they do?”

… Are you going to dwell in your story, and take every opportunity to attract sympathy and remorse from others (because they will give it to you)?

… Or are you going to experience the circumstance fully, learn every lesson that you can, and take every opportunity to transmute this energy into something good and useful?

Because…

What I have learned over the years is that life is nothing more than a perspective… A vantage point… A string of decisions.

… And how enjoyable, rich, happy, loving, and grateful you are comes down to one thing… what perspective you take..

So here’s my question to you?

How are you going to handle your current reality?

… Are you going to see your circumstances as a barrier to the fulfillment of your desires?

Or are you going to find a way turn them into something positive, something useful, that lights a fire under you to really help people in a way that you never have before…with courage and passion.

Because I’ll be honest with you…

That is exactly what I feel like is happening to me these days.

As time feels more and more precious, and as I am faced with even more challenging, crazy, unexpected circumstances…

… I feel an even deeper sense of duty, purpose, and responsibility to share these profound life-lessons with you, in a way that you really get, in the hopes that they will help you experience more happiness, joy, fulfillment in your life immediately…

… because this brings me great joy.

Which, if you can see, is pretty amazing  because for so long, business has been such a source of pain and suffering for so many people. Yet today, it can be the very thing that brings you an exceptional amount of joy and comfort…even in times of intense pain and transformation.

… Which is why I am so passionate and committed to teaching you everything I can so you can create a business that gives you this same freedom and opportunity.

Because I’ll say this: Between being able to share these stories with you, and having an absolute kick-ass awesome team that continues to drive our business forward in remarkably powerful ways…

With my father’s recent life-threatening situation, many people have asked about how I can stay so remarkably centered and focused in the midst of such an ultra challenging and uncertain time.

And that answer to that question is something that is more close and dear to my heart than just about anything I teach or talk about.

Let me tell you a story…

I was born in 1982, which makes me 27 as of today. For some of you, that might come as a shock that someone so young could build a 7-figure business so quickly (there’s a clear reason for this…which I will explain later in this story).

You see…

Growing up, my parents practiced things that seemed totally BIZARRE and FOREIGN to the western world. They would eat vegetarian meals, chant Sanskrit mantras, talk about the expansion of consciousness…

… and meditate for hours every day.

And boy, did people think it was weird.

Yet there was something funny that people just couldn’t put their finger on. Even though my parents did these strange and unorthodox things, they were so kind and supportive…they would embrace you, they would comfort you, and they would take care of you.

And it didn’t stop there!

They stood for these practices and this way of life. My father joined forces with Deepak Chopra, authored 12 books, and became one of the world’s leading experts for integrating mind-body medicine into our western paradigm.

My mom devoted her life to being an influential part of the Transcendental Meditation (TM) movement, and taught every person she could about how to find inner connection and peace.

… Not to mention that she was an exceptional mother who focused her energy on raising me with these tools and practices as a daily part of my life.

You see, they were both so utterly focused on bringing these tools to the world in an easy-to-embrace, easy-to-digest way.

And mind you…

This was WAY BEFORE any of this was even close to being accepted. It’s a little difficult to comprehend, but really get that there were no yoga studios in every town, magazines weren’t talking about the life-changing benefits of meditation, and being a vegetarian was almost like a rebellion.

Yet what my parents did exceptionally well, and trained me to do even better, was to take foreign, new, seemingly hard to understand and embrace concepts and tools, and translate them in a way that people could easily digest and absorb.

… to take things that most thought they could (or would) never do, and show them how easy it could be to integrate them into life and experience profound mental and physical breakthroughs.

So this became my focus.

I would learn new tools, sit with different masters, and have new experiences… and then I would FOCUS on discovering the most powerful and precise way to make this wisdom more easily accessible to the people around me.

In a strange way, I’ve always known that this was my purpose in life…To make it easier for people to assimilate great knowledge and wisdom.

So when I became the YOUNGEST instructor in the history of The Chopra Center while building their products division into a multi-million dollar business, I was known as “the mini David Simon.”

Funny…that used to bug me….but now it seems like the greatest honor of all times.

And this is where I trained thousands…

Through my time as the lead educator at the Chopra Center, I helped people from all around the world to learn the tools and techniques that would change their lives forever…

… I taught people how to quiet their endless mind chatter and experience new levels of clarity and focus.

… I showed people how to connect to a space inside that was free from limitations and old stories.

… I gave people direct access to their field of pure potential, where they could easily manifest their deepest intentions and desires.

… I helped people to feel comfortable and satisfied in their body, in ways they had never been before.

And I was no exception…

Every day, I would use these very same tools, without fail, no matter what…

And when it came time for me to leave my nice comfortable job at the Chopra Center to start my own business and take the leap into total uncertainty, I used these tools to keep me calm.

As I struggled, and struggled, and struggled in my first years of my business and watched as my life savings drained down to nothing because of poor choices and a lack of knowledge about how to be successful as an entrepreneur, I used these tools to keep me in a space of trust and moving forward.

And as I finally locked into my unique genius, my life purpose, and my business started accelerating at such a pace that quite frankly scared me because of how fast things were moving, I used these tools to remain open and focused, taking one step forward at a time.

Now I don’t talk about it very much, but I believe without a question of a doubt that the tools are the FUNDAMENTAL ingredient for my success as an entrepreneur.

Because they give me the power to move forward, even when everything feels intensely uncertain. Because they give me the clarity to make right decisions, quickly. Because they give me a sense of calm and peace, even though the world around me is seeming to reflect a different perspective.

I’m sharing this with you because…

After what was arguably the most intense business growth period of my life, I arrived in Maui yesterday for a 10-day personal retreat.

And while I’ve got some great story’s to share with you about this (later), there’s a much greater purpose behind this post….

…About why you might be stuck at a certain success plateau and not even know it.

To prove it, let me tell you a personal story.

Currently, I reside in Los Angeles, CA… and to be honest, it’s not really where I want to live anymore (and I’ve felt this way for at least 9 months).

So with this level of clarity, you might ask yourself: “So why the heck have you stayed there for so long Max (you idiot)?

And I’ll tell you why…

Because despite the fact that it has been uncomfortable, I’m already there! Meaning, even though it’s not the best case scenario, I’m already familiar with it so there is a certain level of comfort and dependability staying put.

Which if you go to a deeper level, really means that I have a fear of change…of the unknown….of being in uncertainty.

… which is why taking a leap into something new can feel more intimidating and scary than dealing with your current reality.

Can you relate?

So here’s what I have done to START to shift my reality…

• I’ve put my notice in to leave Santa Monica without a clue about where I’m going to call home next…
• I’ve asked my assistant to sell or give away pretty much everything I own (gotta love detachment)…
• I’ve returned to Maui to lock into a creative, visionary space and figure out what I really want…
• I’m doing a WHOLE LOT of meditation and yoga to stay centered and clear (this is necessary)…

Why am I sharing this with you?

Because if you’re reading this right now, I imagine you’re a lot like me. You see yourself as a visionary. You have a big bold desire to make a difference in the world. You prize freedom as your highest value…

… And, you have become pretty comfortable in your discomfort.

So while you know that it’s possible for you to have more success, more wealth, more freedom, and more impact…

… The steps necessary for you to get there seems more challenging and intense than actually staying exactly where you are.

And in case you didn’t get this message loud and clear as you read this, understand that this pesky little resistance to change is also the EXACT reason for why you have not created the wealth, freedom, and impact you desire.

Because if you want these things, and you don’t have them right now, that’s definitely a sign that it’s time for a major shift…

Right?

If your asking “OK Max, what do I do from there then?” And here’s my response:

1. Allow yourself to suffer. I know that sounds intense, but one of the things I say ALL THE TIME is “You won’t change until you suffer enough.” Because until you really FEEL the discomfort, you won’t have the URGENCY to do things differently. So start by allowing yourself to really feel the frustration of your circumstance. It will be excellent motivation to change…
2. Get out of your environment. The reason I take SO MANY little trips away is because it always helps me get a bigger perspective…and fast. If you’re feeling stuck, plan a mini-weekend retreat. Just get away. Go some place quiet. Some place with nature. Just GO! You’ll see how STUCK you really are by your resistance to leaving quickly….even if it’s just for a few days.
3. Immerse yourself in learning. Whenever I don’t know what to do, I become an excellent STUDENT again. Go to courses, listen to audio programs, read books, etc. People create these things in their moments of sheer brilliance. When you’re not feeling that way, utilize their amazing resources as your guidance tools.As a total side note, this is an AWESOME opportunity for you to learn from some “ordinary” people who are doing extraordinary things…
4. Surround yourself with Enlightened Entrepreneurs. I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again. Most people think you are crazy for taking the risks you do, standing in your truth the way you do, and driving your business forward the way you do. We don’t. We appreciate it, support it, and encourage it. So when you say you need space, to clarify, to re-charge, to get-away….we get it….and that gives you permission to go with it.

I could go on and on about this….but I’m going to remove myself from my addiction to create content for you and go swim in the ocean instead. In a funny way, that feels more scary and challenging to me than continuing to create stuff like this for you.

We are the premier global authority for teaching entrepreneurs with a message, mission, or service how to grow their business and get their message out to the world. Last year, our company grew by 500%. This year, we’re on track to evolve by an additional 400%. As you can tell, we’re moving fast (and making a huge impact in the process).

We need someone who can step in and be the glue of our business. Calling you an office assistant doesn’t really do you justice, because it’s much more fun, significant, and important than that.

Specifically, this means you would be:

• Helping out each member of the team with different tasks and projects including database management or office supply runs.
• Answering emails to customers, partners, and interested parties.
• Setting up systems that make things run smoother.
• Doing research and coming back with your clear recommendations.
• Negotiating with vendors to get the best deals.
• Helping with layouts and aesthetics of promotional materials, products, and presentations.
• Finding holes in our business and coming up with creative solutions to solve them.
• Taking great notes during meetings and presentations and organizing them into systems we can use.
• Continuing to “show up”, no matter what, even when you don’t know what to do next or haven’t met one of your goals.
• Asking more questions then necessary to get the all the details out onto paper.

Now let’s talk about what you need to have to rock this job

- First off, you can live anywhere in the United States as long as you have a good solid internet connection, a clear phone line, and a willingness to participate in our meetings a few times a week.

- Some kind of project management experience (meaning, you have helped take a project from point A to point B). Essentially, you can manage the details of a task and see it through from start to finish.

- Some personal development / spirituality / yoga / meditation / consciousness background. We don’t have any time to waste on drama so you must have done some work on yourself to be able to work with us.

-  Some internet marketing experience. Now this can show up in a lot of different ways so it doesn’t have to be in the internet marketing industry. But if you don’t know the basics, like what a shopping cart or autoresponder is, you’re probably not right for us.

- Ability to work independently and make decisions on your own (we have a super HANDS OFF culture and allow you to run with projects).

- Knowing PowerPoint (or Keynote), Excel, and Word is A HUGE plus.

- Some negotiation experience. Meaning you have negotiated prices, terms, options, or something. We want to know that you can keep our best interest in mind and always ask for what you want.

- Are tech savvy or at least willing to maneuver your way around our project management software, social media sites, and website.

The specifics of your opportunity

For the first 90 days, you would receive a $1,500 monthly salary for 20-25 hours of your time, per week. After 90 days, you would then be added to the team bonus pool, which is 10% of profits (and can often times be as big or bigger than your salary) and your time and salary would be re-evaluated based upon your performance and the needs of the company.

At any time, based upon your performance and our success, it’s VERY LIKELY you would move to full time and get a raise….that is, if you are a rockstar. Plus, we would also pay for you to attend our live events as a staff member, which includes travel and accommodations, and of course the space to participate in and enjoy these life-changing experiences.

Tomorrow, I’m flying my entire team of 5 to the island of Maui for a month to conduct a business experiment…

Because there’s a few juicy nuggets in this for you…

You see, this decision, to invest a boat load of money just to bring my team out to Hawaii with me was one of the scariest and most challenging decisions of my business life.

Why?

People always say that they have a team, yet when it really comes down to it, most just have employee’s or independent contractors that they “go to” when they need help.

But that’s not a team, because it puts the success on the shoulders of just one person. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t like doing all the heavy lifting myself.

Instead, I want to create a business where it’s all for one, and one for all. I want to succeed and fail together. I want to share in the triumph and suffer in the defeat, with my people.

Because let’s face it, this business game is hard at times. In fact, it can be downright scary.

Yet I can tell you one thing for sure, it feels a whole lot easier to move through your sh*t when you are surrounded by people who are as equally invested in your vision as you are.

How you can create this too…

If you’re interested in this new-paradigm of business, let me start by saying that it requires a MASSIVE mind-set shift…

… From this is MY business and MY vision and MY money…

… To this is OUR business and OUR vision and OUR money…

And that can’t just be something you say, it has to be something you really do. Which means that you have to allow your people to:

• Take ownership over projects
• Make mistakes (on your behalf)
• Debate and argue with you
• Share in the profits
• Play an active role in the decision making process

Because you can talk about “US” all you want, but if the people on your team don’t see any shifts taking place on a real tangible level and on an energetic level, I can assure you that nothing is really going to change…

…and you’ll be stuck in the “solo struggle” for ever.

Yet something magical happens

When you truly and authentically make this shift and allow your people to step up and be leaders…

In fact, it’s truly remarkable to see what begins to happen:

… First are foremost, the “lonely at the top” syndrome goes away.

… And you really begin to feel like you can get through anything, no matter how challenging, difficult, or scary.

… And most importantly, a great team gets GREAT results…which means that you make more money and help more people.

But let me be clear, this only works if you actually have people on your team that are capable and willing to step up and take ownership…

And if you don’t mind me being blunt, I can tell you right now that most people will not be able to handle this new found opportunity….no matter how great it is or how much you want them to embrace it.

And this is where it gets tough…

Because you probably need to let them go and find people who can.

And let me tell you something that I’ve been learning on this journey that’s EXTRA super important (so please pay close attention).

Seeing the potential in someone else on your team will not do ANY GOOD if they are not ready to embrace it for themselves.

Ouch….that one probably stings a little for a few of you.

So…here’s what to do with this

1) Wish us luck on our experiment. We’ll be filming videos and posting blogs throughout the entire journey so you’ll get to see behind the scenes at every step. It’s like you will be right there with us!!

2) Ask yourself the question: do you want to go on this journey alone or do you want a team? Truthfully, I’ve seen SO MANY people be super successful with no team…so it’s definitely not a requirement. Just decide for yourself what feels right for you and then move forward boldly.

But DON’T play the in-between game, where you have a team that doesn’t feel supported or empowered and you’re trying to do everything yourself. That’s a big fat trap for all sides. You know what I mean?
