These are just a few of the things I heard from participants this weekend during our SOLD-OUT Enlightened Entrepreneur Experience. To say that it was life-changing would be a huge understatement.

And while I could go on, and on, and on about the magic that occurred, I instead want to share with you some of the learning lessons from this weekend.

Consider it a behind-the-scenes sneak peak.

During the event, I unveiled the 10 Secrets To Becoming Enlightened Entrepreneur. One of them was: “Design Your Business Around Your Life, NOT Your Life Around Your Business.”

You see, I travel constantly to speak at other business events and I always meet great-hearted people who are totally stressed out, un-centered, and well, feeling crazy.

As a result, they aren’t having very much fun, are feeling perpetually anxious and frustrated, and just don’t “feel” very good.

This is because they have put so much focus on growing their business that their life has gone down the drain.

So…Let me be the first to tell you that this is totally UN-NECESSARY!!!

People always say things like: “Well, when I make enough money, then I will have the time to take better care of myself.”

While it’s true that more abundance CAN = more freedom, there’s no golden rule that says it’s going to happen that way….unless YOU start making the “enjoy your life” thing a priority NOW!

If you’ve lost yourself in your business, it’s time to take a step back and look at what’s really important to you.

Do you want to spend more time with the people you love?
Do you want to go on more adventures?
Do you want to do more yoga?

What do you really want for your life, and how can you design your business around these desires?

Start to put these things into action NOW; no matter what financial place you’re in, because they will keep you feeling alive, happy, and vibrant. This energy will translate into helping your business grow, thus creating more abundance and wealth for you.

See how this works? You take care of yourself…that helps you take care of your business…that helps you make the money…which allows you to bring in more help so that you have even more time to do what you love.

I know it’s possible because this is EXACTLY how I run my business….and how I’m helping all of my coaching clients to run theirs…and it’s working beautifully.

For example (in our company), we have a golden rule that the first 90 minutes of EVERY SINGLE DAY is devoted to rigorous self-care. And there are 4 pillars – silence (meditation), movement (yoga), inspiration (reading), nourishment (healthy food). No matter what, everyone on our team begins their day this way to ensure that we are centered, balanced, and happy right from the start.
