How To Communicate Your Message So People Pay Attention

Way too many people get caught up in “marketing” and stop communicating their authentic truth in their business.

You get so worried about “doing it right” instead of speaking your message in a way that feels powerful, congruent, and real for you.

This episode of The Big Vision Show gives you the 3 steps to persuasive speech. Meaning, how to communicate your message so people actually pay attention.

And let’s do something unique, I’d love to hear YOUR guidance and feedback about how YOU share your message in a persuasive way so that people really hear you.

Leave your comment below and we’ll feature YOU in the next episode.

This is SO embarrassing (New Halloween Video)

Ok… I’m not going to lie.

It was REALLY difficult to publish this episode of  The Big Vision Show on the internet after I saw the finished version of it. Why?

Because it makes me look like an absolute total fool!!

But you know what?

Sometimes, you gotta take yourself a little less seriously… at least that’s what I’m telling myself as I go through with this (haha).

So enjoy this final episode of The Big Vision Show in this fast and goofy format. After this one, we’re changing it up a bit.

… Hopefully the new episodes will make me look a little less foolish icon smile This is SO embarrassing (New Halloween Video)

Enjoy!

And hey… since I was willing to look like a total clown for your viewing pleasure, it would be really cool if you could share this with your friends.

On one side, I’d be really grateful. On another side, I’m not sure how many people I want to see this… haha!

My MASSIVE Failure (very personal story)

OK… this was a very difficult post for me to write.

Yet there are a few things that have happened in my business (lately) and I’m feeling compelled to share them with you.

Because they have to do with FAILURE…

And I’m pretty sure we ALL struggle with this issue at one time or another.

Here’s The Back Story…

A few months ago, we decided to start trying out some new things in our business…

… Like a newsletter, a web TV show, and some unique new growth strategies.

Because I felt like we needed to expand into new areas and these were the ideas we came up with to do it.

So We Took Masive Action, And…

Here’s the truth:

  • Open rates on our emails PLUMMETED.
  • We got TERRIBLE feedback on our new web tv show.
  • A huge chunk of people in our tribe said they no longer resonated with our message (ouch).

In A Matter Of Days, It Felt Like We Crashed & Burned

It was painful and scary to watch…

Plus it was a total surprise because I honestly thought these things would be very well received.

So Why Am I Sharing This With You?

First, to get you back (if you were one of the people who felt the disconnect).

… Because we have built up such an incredible tribe and relationship with you that it would be a real bummer if you went away just because you didn’t vibe with a few experiments.

Secondly, to share a very valuable learning lesson.

Which is that the stuff you do WILL NOT always strike the right chord. It will not always work. Heck, somethings it will flat out suck!

… Especially when you’re trying to innovate something entirely new.

But That DOESN’T Mean You Are A Failure

I was once told to think of everything in business as “a test“.

… Because you never really know what will work and what won’t.

So when you do something and it rocks… it was a good test.

And when you do something that doesn’t work… it was a bad test.

But either way, it’s not a good idea to take it personally.

You just gather the data and move forward with the information you have.

That’s it…

Too Many People Take Their Failures Personally

They create “a story” that their failures are because they are un-worthy, un-qualified, and all the other “un’s” you can come up with…

But if my little story has taught you one thing… it’s that EVERYONE fails at one time or another.

… And if they are being honest with you, they fail over, and over, and over again (yes, even the big names).

Yet what makes them unique (and ultimately succesful) is that they don’t stay down for long.

Instead, they learn, grow, and get back into action.

Time and time again…

So To Finish This Little Personal Story…

I wanted to let you know a few things:

  1. We’ve killed the newsletter.
  2. We’re re-doing The Big Vision Show to be more in alignment.
  3. We’re moving forward full steam ahead.
  4. And we love you…

Because that’s what you do when you’re a Big Vision Entrepreneur…

You keep moving. You keep trusting. And you keep loving… Even when you’ve totally sucked (haha)…

If You Are So Bold…

I’d love to hear some of your thoughts about your experiences with this issue.

When have you tried something and failed?

How did you pick yourself back up?

What came out of it?

What do you think about this raw and real little post?

I’d be honored and grateful for your comments…

I’m not going to lie, I’ve missed hearing from you.

Much love,

Max
